Welcome to Medievaling
Medievaling was created by Dr Ashley Firth who completed her PhD in medieval history at the University of Huddersfield. Her research focuses on medieval gender and the Crusades. Formerly a university lecturer, she taught a wide range of topics from the Anglo-Saxon period to the Stuart era and is now a full-time author and historian.
Finding a way to share ideas and theories with a wider audience as an academic can be difficult. Medievaling was designed to bring historians together to share their ideas in a supportive environment. It platforms medieval historians at all stages of their career, whether they be working towards a degree, a PhD student or even an established academic.
